I've spent the past week thinking that I should really participate in the comms I joined this year (the return to social media is going so, so great), so I'm taking this as a sign to join in. Hi hi hello hi there.

Name: Inky/Lea
Pronouns: She/Her
Age Group: 40's
Dealbreaker(s): Under 18s. Bigotry. Having my feed flooded (I am highly unlikely to flood yours, even if I do manage this slow crawl back to social media). Conspiracy theorists of the Sandy Hook Denier ilk (the harmless/true ones are an area of interest, tbh). Antivaxxers.

I Recently Finished Reading: The Last Devil to Die, Richard Osman
A Book I Want to Reread: I reread Night Watch, by Terry Pratchett, every May 25th. Tanya Huff's Blood Books are a less tightly scheduled want.
Some Published Titles From My To Be Read List: Rubbernecker, Belinda Bauer; Strange Angel, The Otherworldly Life of Rocket Scientist John Whiteside Parsons, by George Pendle; The Enheduanna, translated by Sophus Helle; Wonderbook, Jeff Vandermeer; Bury Your Gays, Chuck Tingle.
Related Book News I've Got My Eye On: (adaptations etc.) The Thursday Murder Club adaptation.

My All-Time Favorite Book(s): Howl's Moving Castle, by Diana Wynne Jones, is my childhood comfort reread. As far as adult books, Good Omens continues to live at the top beside Dark Lord of Derkholm, despite there being a special place in hell for a certain walking wankstain (I've never really clicked with Gaiman's fiction anyway, and S2 of the show solidified my feeling of 'Oh, it's the Pratchett of it that I like,' long before the bastard was outed).
My Favorite Book Genre(s): I'm all over the place, honestly. Right now I'm veering between mystery and non-fiction (mostly historical. Adding an ice-age vampire to my urban fantasy project seemed like a fun idea, but then everyone, including me, got attached before I realised just how much history I'd have to research. Woe).

Books/Genres I'm Interested in Discussing/Chatting About: Genuinely, I won't know until you start talking about it, or I start reading it. The ADHD brain weasels run free, no matter how much I try to corral them.
