I thought The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes was a much better movie than it was a book so I'm very hopeful about the movie adaptation!

I loved La Belle Sauvage. It's my favorite book in the universe, more even than The Golden Compass. I loved the glimpses into everyday life in Lyra's world that we get from Malcolm; Lyra lives such a strange life that we don't really get to see how normal people live and I adored that. (I hated the second book in the new series, tho.)
