Oh, that's funny! I thought the book was overall better, although the movie was a really excellent adaptation, possibly my favorite out of the franchise and I do love comparing the two. IMO the book was too long, but the ambiguity in the movie was a little too much. I'm definitely looking forward to Sunrise's adaptation and how it stands against the book.

Maybe I mixed up the reception to the second book with the first one. Hopefully the third book will be much better!
