Name: ship
Pronouns: she/her
Age Group: 40+
Dealbreaker(s): I don't know if I have any. Continuous bashing of people who don't like the stuff you do? (disclaimer: I'm not listing stuff that should be obvious aka racism, homophobia, transphobia etc).

I Recently Finished Reading: Welcome to Night Vale audiobook.
A Book I Want to Reread: There are a lot of books I'd like to reread at some point so I'm gonna read this question as "a book I want to read again for the first time" when the answer would be: The whole Black Jewels trilogy. And MDZS.
Some Published Titles From My To Be Read List: Parts two and three of the Wraeththu trilogy and a ton of danmei (Chinese BL), including but not limited to Dinghai Fusheng Records, Fourteenth Year of Chenghua, Mist, and several webnovels from priest.
A Book Not-Yet-Published I'm Excited About: Aubrey Gordon's Maintenance Phase: The Hidden History of the Weight Loss and Wellness Industries—and the Lies They Sold Us
Related Book News I've Got My Eye On: The new danmei books 7S is publishing. I'm mostly side-eyeing them, though as I have a LOT on my reading list right now. I also should read more baihe.

My Favorite Book Genre(s): danmei, horror, sci-fi, fantasy, dark fantasy. I tend to read mostly lgbtqia+ books nowadays and try to read more from POC authors. (When someone asks me why, say, "I've spent about 30 years reading straight, White and Western fantasy. I think it's time I read something else for a change.")
A Genre I'm Interested in Trying Out: I've never been much into comics/graphic novels. I should probably try some.

I'm also on GR and StoryGraph, the links are on my intro post. I read and especially listen a lot nowadays and like to do reading challenges. This year, I'm doing... *counts* 6 challenges, lol.

I post daily, usually only once but sometimes more. My book thoughts are always under a cut and I tend to put all my longer posts under cuts, too.
