Name: Lex Pronouns: she/they Age Group: 30s Dealbreaker(s): The standard stuff--no sexism/racism/homophobia/etc.
I Recently Finished Reading:But Not Too Bold by Hache Pueyo A Book I Want to Reread:When Among Crows by Veronica Roth, in anticipation of the upcoming sequel Some Published Titles From My To Be Read List:The Gentleman and His Vowsmith by Rebecca Ide is next up once I finish A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennett A Book Not-Yet-Published I'm Excited About:To Clutch a Razor by Veronica Roth (!!!!!!); Cinder House by Freya Marske; The Strength of the Few by James Islington; We Love You, Bunny by Mona Awad Related Book News I've Got My Eye On: I can't think of any off the top of my head, except we've FINALLY got trailers and a release date for The Old Guard 2 movie which is based on a graphic novel and I'm sooo stoked about that.
My All-Time Favorite Book(s): Discworld series, Captive Prince series, The Last Binding series, Grishaverse series but especially the Six of Crows duology, Howl's Moving Castle, Good Omens, The Will Darling Adventures My Favorite Book Genre(s): Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Romance/Historical/LGBT in any combination. Also not a genre but I love graphic novels! A Book I Recommend in My Favorite Genre(s):A Marvellous Light by Freya Marske, book 1 of the Last Binding Series which is a historical-fantasy-romance set in Edwardian England which opens with a magical murder mystery A Genre I'm Interested in Trying Out: I've been trying to dip my toe more into horror but it's been very lowkey fantasy-ish horror so far (But Not Too Bold, Don't Let the Forest In, Someone You Can Build a Nest In, etc.)
Link to My Latest Book Review: I post reviews on my Goodreads as I finish things, but I usually do a reading round up combining one or two months in my journal. I just finished March-April's post here! Link to My Reading Log:My Goodreads
Books/Genres I'm Interested in Discussing/Chatting About: Any of my favorite genres above, but I enjoy reading reviews for other genres too and seeing people's book recs!
