I Read: 26 books!
My Reading Goal: I originally set my target to 30 because it was 20 last year and I managed 25, but I got eaten by a long fanfic reading spree so I ended up dropping it down to 25 again in December.
I Challenged Myself: I signed up for r/fantasy's bingo card again and completed the 2023-2024 one in March! That's usually quite enough for me haha.
A New Genre I Attempted: I attempted to add some horror to my bingo cards and enjoyed them enough that I want to try and branch out a bit more, maybe.
An Author New-to-me in 2024 I Really Enjoyed: Yoon Ha Lee!
My Favorite Book of the Year: A toss-up between Robert Jackson Bennett's Tainted Cup, Exordia by Seth Dickinson and Ninefox Gambit by Yoon Ha Lee.
Books I Read in 2024 That I Recommend: The Tainted Cup!!! Also highly recommend the Oleander Sword by Tasha Suri, although that's the second book in the series.

In 2025:

My Reading Goal: I went for 25 again! Feels like a safe bet, and I'll be happy if I go past it.
I'm Going to Challenge Myself: Once again, I am finishing up the 24-25 fantasy bingo card, and I am most likely going to sign up again on the 1st of Feb!
My TBR List: Not as yet - it's usually made up of my bingo card books haha. I have 6.5 books to finish before April 1st, so those, and there's a few upcoming releases I'm excited for! Bingo card books include: finishing the Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern, Dragonsbane by Barbara Hambley, Dragon Mage by M.L. Spencer, the Wings Upon Her Back by Samantha Mills, Children of Time by Adrien Tchaikovsky, either the Necessity of Rain by Sarah Chorn or the Lighthouse Witches by C.J. Cooke, and the Silmarillion by Tolkien (although this might get switched out, I'm not sure how quickly I can read it lol).
Books I'm Especially Interested in Reading in 2025: The Lotus Empire by Tasha Suri, Raven Stratagem by Yoon Ha Lee, Kushiel's Avatar by Jacqueline Carey, other than that, unknown until I do my new bingo card!
A Book Coming Out in 2025 That I'm Excited About: The Devils by Joe Abercrombie, A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennett and the Tomb of Dragons by Katherine Addison! Sorry I know that's three, but AHHHH!!!
Other Book-Related News for 2025 I'm Interested In: Unknown! Some more news about Joe Abercrombie's screen deals would be fucking nice, but unlikely to be this year I think.
