Oh, that's a really good question! I've been so immersed in danmei lately so most of the authors on my author of color tag are Chinese, lol. I do have a goal to read more African authors and South American authors and indigenous authors.

I loved every MXTX book, and so far I've enjoyed most of priest's books. I'm also about to have more Salman Rushdie and Rivers Solomon to read.

Rivers Solomon is on my list of authors to check out - and I haven't read any danmei so far but I might give the genre a try.
