It's that time of the week again! Did you make any dent in your reading?

9. At the request of my significant other, Speed Six!, a book he recalls fondly from his childhood. Described by him as "a boys' own adventure book from the 1950s"... and, yup, that sums it up. Women and POC are notable by their complete absence, which is a lot better than it could have been. Mostly harmless.

Now I feel like I would be justified in making the SO read Ballet Shoes.

10. Seven No-Trump, another Crossroads Adventure gamebook, this time set in Roger Zelazny's Amber setting. So far, well-written but not very gamelike.

Finally picked up What it feels like for a girl again, after leaving it languishing on my bookshelf for a month (oops). Read about 60 pages or so on some long bus journeys I've been taking and I will count that as a win for this week!

(Also hiii, I'm new here and I hope it's okay that I'm just randomly appearing here)

Not at all, I started reading Reign and Ruin by J.D. Evans and I'm still sadly on the same first chapter.
