Finished Glory Road. It got slightly better. Best part was that it didn't end with the glorious completion of the quest, but spent some time with the hero going "so what now?".

20. Fate's Trick, the last of the Crossroad Adventures gamebooks that I hadn't read yet, set in the Glory Road setting. About average for the Crossroads Adventures gamebooks, which is to say, an interesting artifact but not that great as a gamebook.

21. A Hole in the Sky, YA adventure in a generation ship. No idea how it plays to the target audience, but it moves along well, and one of the two serious problems the ship faces is fixed by the end of the book even though this is the first book in a trilogy.

Finished The Tapestry of Fate by Shannon Chakraborty, and unfortunately didn't love it. Less traveling, more stuck in one place, significantly smaller cast, this just didn't have the magic of the first book. Bummer!

Slowly working my way through East of Eden by John Steinbeck. What a book. I've already read two of his books, but EOE is just really something else.
